SIGNED BOOKS BY AFRICAN AMERICAN AUTHORS
In celebration of African American History Month, on display is a collection of quilts and wearable designs by textile artist and instructor Sandra Johnson. Each quilt tells a story, many of which are inspired by her own life experiences. The pieces explore a modern and creative approach to quilting and the use of textiles.

In celebration of African American History Month, signed books by visiting African American authors will be on display in the Local History Room through the end of February.

AFRICAN AMERICAN HISTORY MONTH DISPLAY
A display celebrating African American History Month is featured through the end of February. The exhibit includes sculptures and United States Mint coins commemorating prominent African-Americans from the collections of Chiles Farrel and John Townsend.
