About…ART

Kitty Miller and Diane Weintraub produced a miniature book that discusses the role art plays in the lives of individuals by pairing the word “art” with various prepositions. The triangular accordion fold book was printed on both sides with imagery created on a computer, output by a laser jet printer and bound by hand. Bright yellow book cloth covers both end panels. The structure was created by folding a 22-inch by 2.5-inch parallelogram back and forth over itself in origami fashion.

Each of the two-word phrases on each page is illustrated with graphic designs that are visual puns, including sayings such as: “among Art,” “between Art” and “inside Art.”
